When i had a studio in a big old house near the canal in Tilburg, a young couple was living upstairs.
One day i asked them to pose for me. They did but it took several years for me to seriously work on the material
The impulse to do so was due to a theme exhibition i was invited to participate in.
The theme was "romance" so it felt as if i was ready for this.
One of the results was this painting and it is at this moment an in stock artpiece at Kasteel Nemerlaer.
